DIGITAL PROTECTIVE AUTOMATION SET
CZAZ-GT

The CZAZ-GT-type Digital Protective Automation Set is the only domestic product intended for protecting generator-transformer power blocks. It was designed and implemented using state-of-art hardware and software solutions corresponding to the best worldwide standards. It constitutes a certificate of advanced Polish technical thought involved in realization of most complex and responsible digital protective automation devices used by power industry. The device is reliable and user-friendly.

The CZAZ-GT set is designed basing on state-of-art components and arrays of microprocessor technique involved in digital data processing.

The CZAZ-GT set detects all kinds of disturbances that can occur in the block electrical part.

The CZAZ-GT-type Digital Protective Automation Set features:

co-operation with up to 60 analogue channels

freely programmable characteristics of protections, logical and time dependences, starting values, emergency control, recording and signalling

rich library of protections

enormous flexibility in configuration of complex protective and logical functions and their huge expendability

free clusterisation of functions operated in the form of composite signal (corresponds to a programmable controller)

free feasibility of different time modes (reset time-lag, operate time-lag, pause time limit, pulse, summation of pulses)

logger of disturbations featuring: recording time (up to 500 seconds per single channel), recording of input physical magnitudes and digitally processed magnitudes,

logger of events featuring: 128 differentiable events, memory capacity from 5000 to 160 000 events

operation-tested very high external noise immunity of the system

The CZAZ-GT set belongs to a modern, compatible and user-friendly family of digital protective and control automation sets intended for protecting:

power generators and blocks,
HV power distributing lines,
MV fields,
transformers,
HV motors.

The CZAZ-M-type digital protective automation set – the first member of the CZAZ family, intended for protecting HV asynchronous motors was awarded gold medal at International Fair of Power Industry ELTARG 96’.

The CZAZ-GT set was awarded the following prizes:

award at International Power Fair ENERGETAB 2002 in Bielsko-Biała

2nd degree prize of the Chief Technical Organization awarded by the CTO Metropolitan Council within the framework of the „Master of Engineering” Competition, Warsaw 2003

appointment to the „Poland Now” Emblem within the framework of 13th Edition of the „Best Products” Competition organized by the „Polish Promotion Emblem” Foundation

The CZAZ-GT set is
the only domestic product
intended for protecting high power generator-transformer blocks

Moreover, the CZAZ-GT set is used for protecting either low power generator-transformer blocks (CZAZ-GTM version) or generators working directly onto bus-bars (CZAZ-G version).
